4. HYMS, Hull York Medical School

The Hull York Medical school is new, but medical teaching began in the two cities in the middle of the nineteenth century and continued for around 50 years.

This exhibition looks at the way medicine was taught, at some of the many social evils the medical profession faced in each city, and at some of the personalities who taught at the schools.
